Do you ever switch on the television and think: hey, I know all about this subject too, what a pity that the BBC did not call me? And do you wonder how you can get a foot in the door next time, and how to make a journalist enthusiastic about your work? Then join our media training for scientists on Thursday 10 June. You can register by sending an e-mail to email@example.com.
During the training, Utrecht University Press Officers will explain: why it can be interesting for you as a scientist to appear in the press every now and then; what journalists find interesting; what to do when a journalist rings you; and how to prepare for a media interview (including some practical exercises).
Can’t make it on 10 June but are you interested in joining another time? more info
Please let us know by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, as we are planning to offer this training at least two times per year from now on.
(only for UU PhD students)
