Bert Weckhuysen receives several honorary positions in Belgium and China

We are proud to announce that our scientific director prof. Bert Weckhuysen (UU) has received several honorary positions in Belgium and China.

First of all, prof. Weckhuysen has received an Honorary Doctorate at Ghent University. The promotion committee praised his exceptional scientific achievements: “His pioneering scientific research not only pushes the boundaries of catalyst characterization, but also reveals the secrets of important catalytic processes.” To read more about the Honorary Doctorate in Ghent: click here.

In addition, prof. Weckhuysen received three honorary positions in China in November 2023.

The Chinese Chemical Society awarded him the title of Honorary Fellow.

Furthermore, Tianjin University appointed prof. Weckhuysen as an Honorary Professor.

Finally, East China University of Science & Technology also appointed prof. Weckhuysen as an Honorary Professor.
