I was born and raised in Jammu and Kashmir, India. I completed my PhD in January 2023 at the University of Antwerp, Belgium, where my research focused on singlet oxygen-based photoelectrocatalysis and its application in chemical sensing. In May 2023, I moved to the Netherlands and joined Delft University of Technology, where I worked on the E-CARB project. In 2024, I continued at TU Delft as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow, investigating the electrochemical dicarboxylation of 1,3-butadiene with CO2 toward sustainable chemical synthesis. Since September 2026, I have been an ARC CBBC postdoctoral researcher at Leiden University, where I am working on rechargeable metal-CO2 batteries for energy storage.
