Matteo Monai is awarded a VIDI-grant from NWO (Nederlandse Organisatie voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek). ARC CBBC congratulates Matteo on this great achievement. The grant will allow him to hire a PhD student and a 2-year postdoc for a five-year project. Matteo’s project explores a new approach to boost catalysis, using dynamic stress to stretch catalysts at high frequencies (100–1000 Hz). Matteo aims to understand how the stimulation affects catalysts selectivity and stability in CO₂ conversion reactions.
