About me
Alexander Ryabchun obtained his Ph.D. from Moscow State University (Russia) in 2012. Later in 2013, he joined Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Polymer Research (Germany) as Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral fellow. In 2016, he moved to the Netherlands to work with Prof. Nathalie Katsonis (University of Twente). Since March 2022, he joined the group of Prof. Ben Feringa as a research manager and later as scientific coordinator of ARC CBBC RUG hub.
About my research
Alexander’s research is focused on smart adaptive materials powered by artificial molecular machines (molecular motors and switches) and includes broad aspects of polymer science and liquid crystals.
