About me
I expect that the ARC-CBBC enables me to work on challenging topics, relevant for science & society, in direct collaboration with industry and yet of fundamental interest. Applied research combined with fundamental challenges. The best of both worlds. Existing contacts with partners at AkzoNobel and Shell already led us to to define several interesting and challenging topics to work on. I look forward to start!About my research
I am proud of having developed several new catalytic reactions, and having provided mechanistic insights of several homogeneously catalyzed reactions that allowed us to develop such new reactions. As such we contribute to science and society. I am also proud of being elected a member of the ARC-CBBC. Furthermore, I am of course proud of the publications we published in high impact journals like Science, JACS, Angewandte Chemie, etc. But most of all I am proud of all my hardworking, kind and devoted undergraduate students, PhD students and postdocs.Academic career
