About me
I received my BSc and MSc degree in Chemistry at National Tsing Hua University, also being a visiting student at University of Trieste, Italy for my master’s thesis. I then worked as a research assistant in the Institute of Chemistry at Academia Sinica before I started my PhD study at Utrecht University. Since March 2022, I have been involved in the ARC CBBC project.About my research
My research focuses on the chemical recycling of plastics. I aim to develop a novel strategy to break down polyolefin backbone under mild reaction conditions. I am focusing on the photo-oxidation and solvolysis process in the presence of heterogeneous catalyst. Characterization techniques such as IR and AFM are applied to observe changes in functional groups on polymer backbone and surface roughness of plastics throughout the reaction.Academic career
