About me
I received my BSc and MSc degrees in Chemistry at Sapienza, University of Rome, focusing my work on biomimetic system, such as iron complexes. During my PhD, also in Rome, I consolidate this passion and also focused my work on organic radical. From July 2023, I am working as a postdoc at the University of Groningen. In my free time, I enjoy doing sport, playing board games, or reading a book.
About my research
The goal of this project is to develop electrochemical methodologies for mediated oxidation and/or for generation of the essential oxidizing agents. In situ spectroscopic characterization will be employed to study the reactive species formed in radical and radical-like catalyzed oxidation reactions. My passion for spectroscopy can be displayed in the spectro-electrochemical techniques, and my knowledge about radical and iron species can be used to understand how the electrode processes exactly work. In my opinion, this fundamental research is needed for future application of electrochemical processes in industry.
