About me

Monique van der Veen is an associate professor at TU Delft. She focusses on unravelling structure-property relationships of nanoporous materials for photo- and heterogeneous catalysis and electronics to finally design improved materials. She uses and develops spectroscopic tools, complemented with theory, to reach this aim. In 2017 she was awarded an ERC Starting Grant, and in 2018 the Athena Award by NWO.
