About me

I studied Biochemistry and Natural Product- & Medicinal Chemistry at the Leibniz University Hannover, including a research internship at the University of Aberdeen and a M. Sc. thesis at the Institute for Medicinal Chemistry of the Helmholtz Centre Munich. Afterwards, I pursued a PhD research project on the total synthesis of bioactive natural products and synthetic methodology with Prof. Hans-Dieter Arndt (Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena). In April 2023, I joined the group of Prof. Adriaan Minnaard.

About my research

I am working on the application of electro- and photochemistry for a more sustainable synthesis and modification of (bioactive) natural products.
