About me
Yi Ding was bron in China. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2023, under the supervision of Prof. Xinhe Bao and Prof. Xiulian Pan. During his doctoral studies, he mainly conducted research on the proximity effect of OXZEO bifunctional catalysts in syngas conversion. After that he joined Prof. Xiulian Pan’s group in Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP) for his postdoctoral research, mainly focusing on the upcycling of waste plastics to fuel and chemicals. He will work with Prof. Emiel J.M. Hensen, mainly focusing on the catalysts for CO2 hydrogenation to methanol.
About my research
Exploring the use of supported MoS2 catalyst for CO2 hydrogenation to methanol. Understanding the optimum MoS2 morphology for CO2 hydrogenation to methanol.
