Catalytic Fast Pyrolysis for Selective Bio-based Aromatics Production

This research project is focused on the use of biomass-based feedstock as renewable source for the selective production of high-value aromatics via catalytic fast pyrolysis technology. Briefly, the primary aim of the project is to establish strong fundamental understanding of the structure, composition, and components of the catalytic system and relate these with the overall catalytic activity and reaction mechanism.
